About the InstructorAndreas Eros is the Founder and Head Instructor of Karate Heroes. He holds a fifth degree black belt in traditional Japanese Karate, was part of a team representing the USA in the Shotokan Karate World Championships, and is a team forms gold medalist in the AAU Nationals. A graduate of Francis Parker High School, he holds a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology from SDSU, a Bachelor Degree in Physical Education from SDSU, spent 16 years as the Physical Education Specialist at Warren-Walker School in Point Loma and campus Dean/administrator, and is currently Director of The School of Young Entrepreneurs. Eros Sensei managed a major martial arts school in San Diego for over 15 years, teaching children, teens, and adults. He has three children. (Currently attending UC Berkeley and Duke Law School or applying to PHD program. His teaching motto is "Teach through inspiration, not intimidation."
